Cinevidia's Home Theater Tune-up Service will help you get your money's worth from your home theater system.   We make sure you have properly calibrated sound and video, components that work together and not against each other (integration in the word), proper cabling connected for the highest performance (many people are not getting high definition out of their HDTVs and they are also not getting true surround sound.  We make sure that is not the case for you. And lastly you should  have a single remote control that is properly programed to provide you simple one-button press control.

So what does the Tune-Up include?

The Tune-up is a whole-system checkup and adjustment and includes the following:

• Clean all equipment and blow out dust from cooling vents.  This helps the longevity of your equipment.
• Upgrade any firmware that may be out of date.  Firmware is the internal software on some newer equipment like TVs and DVD players, that control how the equipment actually operates.
• Hook up and configure old and new system components (TV, DVD player, Receiver, Satellite/Cable box, VCR, Media Extender, etc.) to ensure they work together.
• Suggest the ideal location for your speakers and subwoofer and work with you  of your sub-woofer and speakers for proper sound presentation.
• Create Video and Audio hookup schematic to make it easy for you to see your system connections.
• Check speaker phasing and then adjust the speaker sound levels for the richest surround sound
• Tune your basic TV settings (brightness, color, tint, etc.) to give you a correctly adjusted picture
• Create a Equipment Settings chart, with "before" and "after" values noted
• Teach you tips and tricks to make the most of your new home theater system. Provide a cheat sheet for you if needed.
• Note any system issues, incompatibilities with recommended solutions and suggested upgrades for the future.
• Also if needed, we can also mount you TV, hide wires in the wall and hide equipment in a closet or cabinet for you for an extra charge to give you that clean look you have been wanting.
